Writing and location scouting is nearly complete for Lost, which is tentatively scheduled to begin July 18th, with another day of filming scheduled for the 19th.

Basic project pages for Lost and Outsourced are online now, both of which are early in-development. Expect more news in the coming days!

The navigation bar at the top has been enhanced to it's final version (at least for now).

Also the "stills gallery" for each project. Simply click on the image you wish to view a larger version of and then a window will open for you to click through the entire gallery.

The movie/audio player is currently getting upgraded so if it doesn't work, try again later.

Project wise green tests will start tonight, with stills hopefully afterwards.

12 new stills from Xibalba have been uploaded as well as 1 production still for Forsaken Son. Expect a couple more in the next couple days.

Also the project section received an update, each section is broken out (ie Synopsis, Credits etc). The error handling isn't in there yet (ie if there isn't any trivia for a project it simply doesn't display anything), but that will be fixed.

All of the completed projects have native resolution screen shots now instead of the low resolution versions from the original Motion Blur Studios site many years ago. Expect screenshots from the current projects soon, along with a revamped projects page.

As you might have noticed, the site design went back to the design from last Fall, with the exception of the Flash Carousel linking to all of our projects. Expect more updates this week.

Work continues on Xibalba, a new draft of the alternate ending should be done by next weekend, just in time for the next night of filming on the 23rd of this month. So far the alternate ending will only require 2 additional nights of filming so principle photography should wrap this month or next, entering post-production as late as July. The new ending is much grander then originally written, incorporating green screen and tons of CG effects, so the post-production might take the entire summer.

Forsaken Son has taken a backseat momentarily until a new film, Lost (tentatively called) is finished being written. This new film is going to be about the same length or a little shorter then Forsaken Son, with an expected release date of this Fall/Winter. The first draft of the script should be done this weekend, with 1 or 2 more drafts before filming commences next month.

Last night Day 12 filming wrapped up, tons of shots were filmed, leaving only 5 days of shooting left until the script is finished being filmed.

Writing of our next film, Forsaken Son has commenced! Last Thursday the initial thought process started and basic premise came about. Shooting should begin sometime in July after Xibalba has been released, with the expectation to have it released in the Fall.

As you might have noticed, the Motion Blur Studios site got a design update. There is still some tweaking here and there so if something doesn't look right, chances are it's going to be tweaked. Expect new features in the coming weeks.

Several actors in Xibalba are debuting in tonight's filming, pictures of the production thus far should be up tonight.

Since we've been so excited over the look and impact our processor has on Xibalba, we decided to show off our very own MBS Image Processor. Eventually this software will be available for purchase.

Another 66 minutes of film shot last night, the weather actually helped out quite a bit with the heavy snow downfall. Day 9 and 10 will follow up next weekend.

Episode 2, 3 and 4 filming is going begin tonight and wrap up next Sunday. After some careful consideration, rather then release Xibalba in a series of web episodes, it is going to be released as a full length movie as originally thought. With any luck it will be done some time in July of this year.

Day 3 filming of the first episode of Xibalba completed last night. Only one more day of filming is planned tomorrow and one other day for any additional shots.

Filming for the second episode is tentatively scheduled for the end of next month.

Also an updated logo for Xibalba is up, the final version may differ slightly.

The first night of filming started last night, starting at around 8:30 and ending around 11:30. The second night of shooting will occur tonight wrapping up principal photography of one of the two locations in the first episode. Roughly 3 minutes of footage out of about 70 shot last night ended up in the episode thus far. Updates will follow throughout the week as well as production photos taken during filming.

Filming is tentatively scheduled for filming on January 10th, with the expectation to have the first episode released by the end of the month. Episodes 2 and 3 are near complete and will be filmed some time in the Spring of 2009.

After some considerable though, Xibalba will now be released over the internet (and DVD) through a series of 10-15 minute episodes. It hasn't been decided yet as to how many will constitute the first "season", but the plan to have at least 5. Next weekend the third and hopefully final draft will be finished so Pre-Production can commence.

The second draft of Veritas is now complete, most likely there will be one more draft with some slight changes, but this draft included a ton of character development additions, dialog clean up and plot holes being filled.

The next draft and hopefully final draft will be come within the next week.

The first draft of Veritas, now also known as Xibalba is complete! The second draft should be completed within the next two weeks.

Many new features are coming to Motion Blur Studios.com in the coming days. Expect user ratings, users comments and discussion support. With these new features come user registration, although the site will remain open to everyone, the new features will only be available to the registered users.

In other news, Veritas' script continues to get closer to completion and is still on target to be completed by December 1st.

Work continues on Veritas, with another couple of pages storyboarded this weekend and some test recordings last night. The original goal of being done with the script by November 1st was a little too unrealistic, so the new goal is by the end of December to begin filming.

Also a work in progress logo for Veritas was uploaded, look for a more detailed synopsis in the coming weeks as the script is finished.

Some miscellaneous updates:

-The Untitled movie now is tentatively titled "Veritas". Progress is still being made on the script. Some test shooting is expected to begin shortly.
-Return of the Sith: Special Edition is in pre-production for a release sometime next year.

The script for our first feature length film is coming along nicely. We expect to start pre-production work by November 1st.

Upon finding an older hard drive, we have found several bloopers and films that never got off the drawing board. This films and bloopers will be uploaded over the next couple days. Also profiles for the actors/crew have been put up.

All of our previous projects that we still have are uploaded with screenshots, descriptions, credits, trivia info and downloads. Over the next week or so we will be digging through old hard drives and cds looking for other content to put up. Also coming soon are profiles for each of the members of our productions.

All but Existence and Existence II are online now in at least a High Quality stream. Those should be uploaded some time this week along with low and medium quality streams of all the movies. Look for project trivia and credits sometime this week as well for each project.

It took quite a bit longer then originally expected, but the Motion Blur Studios website is finally coming together. In the coming days, expect to find all our previous movies in various formats, screenshots and synopsis for each. Over time we will be adding more and more content so stay tuned!
